A quarter side of beef typically costs between $550 - $687.50 depending on the animal's weight and yields between 110 - 150 lbs. of finished cuts. QUARTER PRICING is based on bulk pricing of $2.75/lb hanging weight. The hanging weight of a quarter can vary but is typically 200 - 250 lbs. (For example, $2.75 x 200 = $550) $200 non-refundable deposit is required, balance is due before pick up from the processor.

Processing is paid separately - and directly - to the processor when you pick up your beef. Price varies based on the processing you are requesting. For example, steaks and roasts are typically more expensive to process than ground beef. As of January 2024, it was $0.70/lb hanging weight.
