We have very limited availability as we only raise about a dozen beef animals by hand each year. Our animals are fed twice a day, every day. We take great pride in our safe and low-stress handling methods, providing access to fresh water and hay/grass pasture 24/7, and using high-quality feed that we grow and harvest on our farm.

Due to the custom nature of buying a side of beef and our extremely limited availability, we require a deposit on every order to secure your reservation. Our appointments with Johnson’s Processing are made a year in advance, so we cannot move appointment dates within the year.

PLEASE READ: PAYMENT & PICKUP DETAILS:

To reserve your beef order, we require a non-refundable deposit:

  • Quarter – $300

  • Half – $600

  • Whole – $1,200

This holds your spot and processing date.

After payment, we’ll email you using the address you paid with to confirm your date and get a phone number for Johnson’s Processing, who will contact you about cutting and packaging within approx. 10 days of the reservation date.

You can make additional $200 payments toward your order after the deposit. We’ll confirm each payment by email.

Final cost is based on the animal’s weight, which we won’t know until the animal is at the processor. After we get that info from Johnson’s, we’ll bill you for the remaining amount.

All beef must be paid in full before pickup.

Pickup is in Chadwick, IL, and you’ll pay Johnson’s Processing directly for their fees. There is no on-farm pickup or delivery to ensure USDA inspection and proper freezer storage.
