Half Beef Deposit

Half sides of beef typically cost between $1,100 - $1,375 depending on the animal's weight and yields between 220 - 300 lbs. of finished cuts. HALF PRICING is based on bulk pricing of $2.75/lb hanging weight. The hanging weight of a half can vary but is typically 400 - 500 lbs. (For example: $2.75 x 400 = $1,040) $400 non-refundable deposit is required, balance is due before pick up from the processor.

Processing is paid separately - and directly - to the processor when you pick up your beef. Price varies based on the processing you are requesting. For example, steaks and roasts are typically more expensive to process than ground beef. As of January 2024, it was $0.70/lb hanging weight.
